What a shock. This sort of story s bad enough but when it is people you know there is a whole side to it. No distant 'what a shame'. Hope all involved make a full recovery. more…

It is worrying to think that not only did it happen to people I knew, but it was only a few streets away at the bottom of the road.
But yes I am angry more than anything else more…

I think to start with yeah that is exactly what they must do, but how they would find the money to employ enough police is a mystery, once people started getting caught and sent to prison for it maybe others would stop and think! It is a slippery slope to gun crime otherwise more…

Ah, near Bradford..Ray knows it...do you know I couldn't find anything about it when I searched the net...seems another stabbing like this happened last night in Bristol as well...I think the world is in the midst of a nervous breakdown and it's coming out in psychotic incidents in all kinds of vulnerable, angry people...difficult to restore sanity more…

Not Bristol, thats how much of a backwater we are, or is it that knife crime is so common it is not worth reporting unless it is a place like Bristol?

Just checked the news, Lynda, and the only one I can find is Bristol...that's the only place in the country we've ever been attacked in years ago now and the police went around in pairs and one of the two we managed to find had his arm bandaged where somebody had cut him...if it is Bristol, Lynda, this isn't a backwater but a pretty dangerous place more…

That's scary, Lyndij I thought it was already illegal to carry knives .. it is here in Sweden. The law also needs to enforced. I'm glad that you are not taking flowers to a funeral. It seems that something as horrible as this needs to happen before action is taken. I cab only hope that good will come of this.

Someone has to take responsibility for these actions don't they? It is an appalling world that allows knife crime to be so prevalent and for youngsters to die such meaningless deaths. I am glad you are not left mourning someone close to you but am so sorry that it happens at all let alone on your own doorstep. There needs to be severe punishment more…

The word Peadophilia is a label yes, but humans label everything in order that they not be confused with other things. It is the condition that makes people sexually abuse children that is thought to be genetic.
All you have done is attack labels, not proved that a condition cannot be genetic, or generated a reasonable argument as to w more…

I must take objection to the idea that paedophilia is necessarilly inherited (i.e. genetic). Paedophilia, like homosexuality, heterosexuality, trangender, etc. is a social construct created by people calling themselves psychiatrists and psychologist. The paraphilias - under whose heading paedophilia is subsumed - are also social constructs: schema more…
